Trump Campaign Financing Cont.

Goal:

The primary objective of this project is to better understand the top contributors to Trump's 2024 presidential campaign, how they are contributing to and benefiting from the current administration now that Trump is in office, and to see how the net worth of some of the highest contributors (Elon Musk, Gavin DeBecker, Timothy Mellon, etc.) has changed.

Methods:

Methods are currently being developed. Beginning stages include pulling the names of those who contributed >$1M from the Trump's Campaign Funding project and conducting online research to answer the questions listed in Goals and recording information in Google Sheets and Google Docs. This project page will be updated as the project continues.

Challenges:

I anticipate the challenges during this project will include the time is takes to scour the internet and verify information, organizing notes/data into a standardized form for future analysis, and potentially creating a web scraper program to automate a portion of the data collection.
